Julie Collett
Julie’s studio is part of her self built mud brick house in Kinglake where she is a long term resident and has an ongoing commitment to the mountain community. Drawing has been a big focus for the foundation and discovery into other mediums. Julie always has a journal on hand for sketching and planning her next projects. Beginning as a ceramic artist in the 1980’s paved the way for her exploration into other mediums. Presently Julie is focusing on Watercolour, Acrylics , print making and a keen pursuit of life drawing via zoom.
“Art is like Life a journey of discovery and growth. Art gives meaning to our lives and helps us understand our world.”
